Learn to Surf

Experience the fun of riding a wave with Prue and her friendly and dedicated team of instructors. We can tailor programs to suit corporate social occasions, surf camps, birthday parties, progressive lessons or a surfing experience. Individuals and groups welcome. All we require is that you can swim.

Equipment Supplied

 

Safe, soft and stable surfboards that are easy to balance, paddle and surf on for beginners.

Fibreglass surfboards for more advanced surfers.

Full length wetsuits, booties and helmets.

All you need to bring is bathers, sunscreen and a drink.

Instructors

The East Coast Surf School team are fully qualified (Surfing Australia - Level 1 Surf Coaching, Surf Rescue Certificate and First Aid) fun, friendly and enjoy teaching surfing because they all love to surf themselves!

Prue Latchford is East Coast Surf School's proprietor, principal coach and 2001 Australian Women's Masters Champion.

Location

Most lessons are based at Point Leo however depending on the best and safest conditions they may be held at any of the magnificent surf beaches on the Mornington Peninsula.
