NEWGEAR.Billabong SGX Xero
Welcome to this weeks instalment of Trigger Brothers "NEW GEAR"! This week we have Billabong's new SGX Xero.
The Xero is their premium cold water wetsuit designed to be worn in the coldest harshest conditions. The combination of Billabong’s new and exclusive AX1 Superflex neoprene, it comes in an all over 3mm suit and an all over 4mm suit, with internal Drymax furnace super quick dry lining with built in irrigation channels designed to drain and dry the suit super fast. As well as Xero Seam 2 throughout the entire suit, Xero Seam 2 features stitchless welded seams, makes for the most advanced, incredibly warm, flexible, light weight performance wetsuit they’ve ever designed.
AX1 Superflex neoprene: The new formula of AX1 is 15% lighter, 12% more flexible, and warmer than any previous Airlite materials found in their advanced SGX wetsuit.
DRYMAX Furnace Lining: This unique double knit hollow yarn forms a barrier between the wetsuit’s foam core and the wearer’s skin that increases the volume of air trapped between the skin and the wetsuit core, thereby increasing warmth by 17%. You’ll find it in the critical chest, back and kidney areas, as well as the areas around the vulnerable thigh and calf muscles. This Ultra warm lining also acts as a drainage system which allows the inside of the suit to dry 50% quicker.
And check out the Billabong 3mm SGX Xero on our Online Store.
