7'10" x 22¼" x 3¼" Suitable for a beginner 80 - 90kg or a comeback surfer up to 120kg.

This board has a full nose so you can still nose ride like on the long boards, however being 1ft shorter it's a lot more maneuverable. The Hotdog Stubby has as much volume as a slimmer 9' mal and paddles into waves easier. I've ridden mine in 5' - 6' surf backhand and forehand. In bigger surf you have to have your foot on the tailpad. If you're too far forward the board will not perform nearly as well. Like all the stubbies maximum performance is obtained with your back foot over the front of the fins.

Occasionally we've done customs with a normal stubby nose, this would make the board a little easier to get out through white water although I'm still of the opinion you have the buoyancy to paddle around the break, you just need to learn to read it better.

9'0" x 22¾" x 3½" Suitable for beginner 90 - 120kg or anybody who wants to catch heaps of waves. The volume in this board would be equivalent to a 9'6" or even 10' slim mal.

10'0" x 23" x 4" Suitable beginner 120 - 160kg. This board, if your under 100kg would just about catch waves by itself.

I have demo's of these boards at Pt.Leo anytime you want to try one out.
